About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our impactful Sales Team. You will drive revenue growth and new customer acquisition by selling Rapid Robotics’ fast, easy-to-deploy Rapid Machine Operator (RMO) solution to manufacturing customers in the automotive, A&D, industrial, medical device, high-tech, and plastics vertical industries.

This role requires frequent travel to customers in the Midwest.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive complex sales in net-new and expansion customers through coordinating internal account teams of Field Application Engineers, deployment, customer support, and marketing and sales support.  
  • Leverage insight and complex sales techniques to teach customers about the value of Rapid’s Robotics-as-a-Service offerings to quickly deploy automation and enhance the competitiveness of our manufacturing customers.  
  • Lead prospecting for new opportunities within an assigned account base through networking, cold calling, social selling, and other lead generation techniques.
  • Lead sales cycles, performing lead qualification, discovery, factory walk-throughs, solution concept development and validation, and negotiating and closing deals - both onsite and remote.  
  • Enable visibility into your business through effectively tracking account activity, opportunity management, and collaboration with internal managers and stakeholders.  
  • Conduct all other sales and marketing activities required to exceed an assigned Annual Recurring Revenue quota.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of complex sales success is demonstrated by meeting/exceeding assigned revenue quotas.  
  • Experience selling industrial solutions, automation, robotics, machinery, or software to manufacturing customers preferred.

  • Strategic Thinking - systematically solves problems and hypothesizes possible customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs; brainstorms with team members to devise solutions to solve complex deal challenges.
  • Communication - Tailors communication to the customer’s needs with authority; effectively delivers presentations and has strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Influence - Uses rational and emotional drivers that appeal to customers to drive to desired outcomes comfortably.  
  • Ownership - Takes the initiative and makes the extra effort to complete a job and has a relentless drive to achieve results; is independent and self-directed; takes action with minimal direction or supervision. Collaborates with managers and stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes.

 

The base salary range for this role is currently $55,000 - $250,000 annually. The base salary range includes all experience levels and does not include commissions, bonuses, or any applicable equity that may be included in the total compensation package.
