We want you to think big and act bold through expressing your authentic best self! Anaplan is looking for a tenacious Sales Commissions Analyst to join our Finance Team in, San Francisco, CA. This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a highly visible, large-scale SaaS cloud company. This role is an immediate full-time position. Reporting to the Sales Commissions Manager, the ideal candidate will thrive in a high-paced environment; have a business-oriented approach and shown analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate is deadline driven, detail oriented, self-motivated, analytical and able to multi-task.

As the Sales Commissions Analyst, you are responsible for implementing and administering commission plans for the global customer success team, sales development representatives and our alliances organization. Work closely with all business partners to identify and resolve issues related to incentive programs.

Insight on your impact

  • Reconciliation of commission discrepancies and data anomalies
  • Assistance with monthly accruals, close, journal entries and analytics
  • Assistance with internal process improvement initiatives by collaborating across functions (Finance, HR, Sales Operations, legal and audit team)
  • Assist with monthly testing and compensation data validation
  • Partner with the sales systems team, sales operations, HR, IT and relevant partners to develop system changes as needed
  • Maintain effective SOX controls and reporting to ensure integrity of deferred and expense commissions being handled via Anaplan
  • Handle ServiceNow tickets/commission enquiries and assist in resolving commission related issues

Your qualifications, your influence

To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills

  • BS degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-3+ years business experience, with shown expertise working within a sales commissions, finance, accounting or operations role.
  • Prior experience implementing/using Anaplan or other commissions systems a plus
  • Strong Excel skills and aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Public company and SOX compliance experience
