We are seeking a highly motivated, results oriented leader to join our high-growth organization and world class presales team. As the Global Director of Sales Engineering, you will continue to build on the strong foundation of excellence and provide the necessary coaching, enablement and support for this fast-growing team. The Sales Engineering team acts as a critical liaison between Sales and Product; sharing customer feedback with the Product Management, Operations and Engineering functions at FullStory. Our top performers have a deep curiosity of front-end web development, and are capable of leading presentations related to technical architecture, product configuration and privacy.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Drive thought leadership in the industry, and develop new data-driven processes to optimize the education and evaluation of our product.
  • Foster collaboration between Sales Engineering (SE) managers and Sales leaders by providing guidance on sales strategy and common patterns for achieving the technical win.
  • Work closely with Sales leaders and regional managers on strategic initiatives as we scale our team globally.
  • Monitor and further develop onboarding and continuing education programs for Sales Engineers and SE Managers.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts to find and hire top talent worldwide.
  • Liaise with other teams throughout the organization (Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Alliances, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering) to take on urgent matters, and to implement operational workflow improvements.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or solutions consulting or similar
  • Has 3+ years of experience in managing presales teams with a market leading software provider 
  • Has experience with modern web technologies and/or mobile frameworks
  • Has experience developing career growth strategies

It would be amazing if:

  • You have led presales organizations in the product analytics, digital experience, or digital marketing (martech) space
  • You have an exceptional point of view on leadership and experience working in a startup and/or fast-paced organization
  • You are an exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing
  • You have a passion for analytics and/or data-driven systems and platform. You have the curiosity to understand how things work and challenge others to think creative
