We want you to think big and act bold through expressing your authentic best self! Anaplan is looking for a tenacious SALES DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR to join the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT team in, MINNEAPOLIS. We are looking for an experienced and resilient Sales Development Leader who is highly motivated and possess domain expertise in Enterprise SaaS business models, particularly connection points between sales, marketing, and product.

As the Director, you will empower and develop team members, while working closely with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success. You will lead our North American team of Sales Development Managers and Representatives and scale the organization for future strategies, processes, and systems that support growth.

Insight on your impact

  • Defining critical drivers of success while mentoring and hiring hard-working Managers and SDRs
  • Build innovative foreward facing playbooks, compensation plans, career paths, and appropriate measurements for the sales development organization to measure results and continually optimize processes
  • Craft the strategy and lead the execution of our opportunity and pipeline generation efforts in support of company growth targets
  • Utilizing quantitative methods to measure, handle, and optimize efforts and allocation of resources
  • Cultivate a fun, high-energy environment where people love coming to work

Your qualifications, your influence

To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills

  • 10+ years of second-line management experience
  • 7+ years of proven experience in building and scaling sales development organizations in a fast paced environment
  • Track record of developing successful Sales Development Managers and Representatives through coaching, mentoring and performance management
  • Proven ability to communicate with leaders in all areas of the organization to support sales strategy, tactics and results
  • Ability to adapt easily to an evolving environment while solving challenges quickly and efficiently
  • Software industry experience required; SaaS experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel to global office locations as needed
  • BS degree is required
