About the Role:

We are searching for a Business Development Representative to join our Inside Sales Team

The Business Development Representative will focus on driving new logo sales for the full product suite of the Dodge Construction Network. Business objectives will include responding to inquiries, conducting virtual product demonstrations, and continued follow-up activities/pipeline management to close new business.

 What you’ll do:

  • Drive sales opportunities to close new logo SaaS ARR sales, marketing services, and one-time analytics. Research and target relevant companies using the latest prospecting tools and Work full-cycle deals from demo complete to close.
  • Be the tip of the spear in setting the tone for the customer experience. Retention begins with the first interaction.
  • Build positive relationships and influence through using strong communication and interpersonal skills; be personable yet persistent.
  • Attain all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) calls/demos, follow-ups, monthly sales, average contract values, close-win ratio as defined by the management team.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline to achieve assigned sales goals and forecasts.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all account interactions within the Salesforce.com CRM system and add on sales enablement tech.
  • Represent Dodge Construction Network professionally through positive messaging, timely follow-ups, and brand integrity, and value-based selling.

 What you’ll bring:

The New Business Development Representative must have a hunter mentality and demonstrate consultative sales skills in addition to:

  • Successful track record for managing the sales cycle, negotiating, and meeting sales objectives. 
  • Attitude and work ethic with an unapologetic thirst for success.
  • Passion for technology and being a part of a consistently growing SaaS-based company.
  • Expert level pipeline management.
  • Experience with high-volume B2B virtual transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sales aptitude . 
  • Proficiency in modern software and sales enablement programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, Zoom, Salesloft, etc.).
  •  Aptitude for learning new software, services, and products.
  • Ambition and thirst for career growth. (Merit-based opportunity to grow into larger roles is there for the taking). 
  • Driven to continuously improve performance results and acceptance of feedback. 
  • Exemplary decision making, problem-solving and organizational skills. 
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience with the construction industry is a plus. 
  • Prior SaaS sales experience is a major plus.
  • Adaptability for learning job responsibilities and processes.
  • Ability to self-monitor and continuously improve performance results .
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience . 
  • 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
