Amex GBT is a place where colleagues find inspiration in travel as a force for good and – through their work – can make an impact on our industry. We’re here to help our colleagues achieve success and offer an inclusive and collaborative culture where your voice is valued.

We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join our Sales Operations team as an individual contributor. You will directly own and drive high-impact projects across sales process design, systems, forecasting, and analytics. You will act as a strategic and operational partner to sales leadership, translating ambiguous business problems into clear, scalable solutions that improve the productivity and effectiveness of our go-to-market organization.

What You'll Do

  • Distill complex business problems and cross-functional processes into simplified, actionable requirements and solutions for sales and revenue leadership.
  • Design, document, and continuously improve end-to-end sales processes — from lead routing and territory assignment through pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, contracting and implementation.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Marketing, Solutions, Account Management, Pricing, Implementation, Enablement and Analytics to ensure end-to-end continuity across the customer journey.
  • Build, maintain, and refine the sales forecasting methodology and cadence, partnering with sales leaders to improve forecast accuracy and pipeline visibility.
  • Lead territory design and account segmentation projects, using data-driven approaches to optimize coverage and capacity planning.
  • Create requirements for dashboards and analytics that surface actionable insights on pipeline health, rep productivity, conversion rates, and other key sales KPIs.
  • Optimize the broader GTM tech stack, including Gong, Outreach, 6sense, and ZoomInfo/data enrichment tools, ensuring these systems are integrated and adopted effectively by the sales team.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing sales workflows and lead the design and rollout of process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Support strategic analyses and projects for sales leadership, including productivity benchmarking, win/ loss deep dive and territory rebalancing.
  • Partner with the wider annual planning team to determine pipeline/ coverage modeling, Headcount and capacity planning, Systems & process readiness, Plan communication and rollout.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related analytical/GTM role.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex problems and business processes into simplified, actionable requirements and solutions.
  • Extensive, hands-on experience in sales process design, forecasting methodology, and territory design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, with deep experience configuring reports, and dashboards to support sales process.
  • Practical experience working with Gong, Outreach, 6sense, and ZoomInfo or comparable sales tools.
  • Strong analytical and Excel/data modeling skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will have become a trusted operational partner to sales leadership — someone who can be handed a loosely defined problem and return with a clear, well-reasoned solution, backed by clean data and a scalable process, without needing to manage a team to get it done.
