FieldPulse is a fun, dedicated, and growing team that is building modern applications for small home service businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, specialty contractors, etc.) to help organize and run their business operations.
As a FieldPulse sales manager, you will be managing and developing a team of Account Executives. We are looking for a shown sales leader with great energy, leadership, and initiative to drive team performance and sales for our team. You will formulate and complete a strategy to improve business growth. You are responsible for developing and leading the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and interpersonal quotas.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a team of 8-10 Full Cycle Account Executives, coaching AEs to sales process
- Own Monthly and quarterly Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Reviews Across the team
- Provide sales coaching, training, and execution of sales strategy in order to increase sales revenue
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of FieldPulse’s solution offerings
- Track and review key metrics to ensure the success of reps through the full sales cycle
- Interface and develop professional relationships with existing clients and prospects throughout the organizational levels
- Display a systemic approach to managing challenging contract negotiations/deals with multiple reps at a time
- Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to assist in determining win-based proposals and pricing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional areas internally at FieldPulse, e.g. Professional Services, Implementation, Customer Success, Subject Matter Experts, Product, Marketing, etc to ensure a collaborative approach
- Think outside the box and establish monthly and quarterly sales objectives around your sales plan and quota
What We’re Looking For:
- Validated sales management experience in a SaaS startup
- At least 3-5 years of individual-level tech sales experience
- At least 3 years managing SMB Sales Team
- Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, and other relevant sales tools
- Experience over-exceeding quarterly team quotas through metric-based skill development and internal team management
- Experience working in complex contract negotiations
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in sales coaching and mentoring
- Ability to operate optimally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong engagement and interpersonal skills
- Influence in a “win as a team” environment
- Is a trusted advisor to customers and colleagues
