As a Sales Director, Financial Services Industry, you will lead a team responsible for helping some of the region's most strategic financial services organizations accelerate their digital transformation journeys. You will work closely with customers and partners to address evolving business priorities, unlock new growth opportunities, and deliver measurable business outcomes through Microsoft's technology portfolio, including cloud and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
This role combines strategic business leadership, customer engagement, and people management. You will develop and execute market growth strategies, build trusted executive relationships, and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture focused on customer success, innovation, and business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute market growth strategies that increase revenue, customer value, and adoption of Microsoft solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with senior customer and partner stakeholders to identify business opportunities and support long-term success
  • People management : Guide teams in helping customers achieve their digital and AI transformation goals while promoting security, governance, and responsible AI practices.Coach and empower managers and sellers to drive customer engagement, business performance, and impactful outcomes
  • Collaborate across Microsoft teams and partner organizations to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional customer experiences
  • Create an inclusive, customer-focused culture that encourages learning, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Lead business planning, talent development, and organizational priorities to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience leading sales, business development, customer engagement, or related commercial functions within complex organizations.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams and people leaders.
  • Ability to build executive-level relationships and influence business outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong strategic planning, customer engagement, and business leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience leading large, geographically diverse sales organizations.
  • Experience driving digital transformation, cloud adoption, or AI-related business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing talent, leading through change, and delivering business growth.
  • Experience working with strategic partners and complex enterprise customers.

Sales Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across France is € 119,900.00 - € 227,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Skills Required

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 7+ years experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high-performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations OR Bachelor's Degree in those fields AND 8+ years experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years direct/formal people management experience.
  • Experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high-performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 10+ years experience OR Bachelor's Degree AND 13+ years experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience leading teams and/or managers in a Sales organization.
  • 5+ years direct/formal people management experience.
