As a Summer Intern in Sales, you will engage in a stimulating environment, exploring our sophisticated financial solutions across asset classes. 


What You Can Expect 

As a Sales Intern in the Sales team, you will join teams that help corporate and institutional clients navigate J.P. Morgan’s Markets and Platform Services offerings by matching the firm’s resources to clients’ needs.. Salespeople build strong client relationships, develop tailored solutions, and proactively suggest trade ideas, drawing on broad product knowledge, collaboration, and strong interpersonal skills. 

This nine-week program runs from June to August for penultimate- or final-year students and serves as a pipeline to the analyst program the following year. Interns support senior colleagues with research, analysis, and preparation, including monitoring markets, developing trade ideas, and conducting portfolio reviews. Throughout the program, you’ll learn about the firm’s history, scale, and future ambitions, and gain practical skills to contribute from day one, with top performers potentially receiving full-time analyst offers upon graduation.


Job responsibilities 


  • Support the team in understanding client objectives, market priorities and risk management needs. 
  • Assist with preparing client materials, market updates, trade ideas and product presentations. 
  • Support senior colleagues with key research, evaluation and preparatory work. 
  • Monitor market developments and client activity to help identify relevant opportunities 
  • Work with trading, structuring, research and other internal teams to help deliver solutions for clients. 
  • Support senior colleagues with research, analysis and preparation for client meetings. 
  • Contribute to projects that improve how the Sales team supports clients and manages day-to-day business activity. 
  • Develop knowledge of products across asset classes and how they are used by corporate and institutional clients.

  • Participate in hands-on experience, relevant skills training and valuable professional networking.  

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 


  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills for the country to which you are applying. 
  • Willing to take on some responsibility and manage your own projects in collaboration with your colleagues. 
  • Graduation date from September 2027 to August 2028.

  • Strong interest in global financial markets, as well as investigative and quantitative skills.
