The Role: Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative, you are the engine of our sales team. You'll be the first point of contact with our future customers, responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This is a high-impact role for a driven individual who is eager to learn, implement feedback, and own their path to success. You'll work closely with Account Executives and have a clear path to promotion.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Pipeline: Strategically prospect and create new opportunities with our target law firms, actively managing a high-volume pipeline.
  • High-Volume Engagement: Commit to over 125 activities per day, including 80+ calls, to connect with key decision-makers and generate interest.
  • Qualify & Discover: Conduct compelling discovery calls that uncover customer pain points and build a strong foundation for the Account Executive team.
  • Master the Message: Become an expert in our product's value proposition and articulate it effectively to prospects.
  • Collaborate & Learn: Work closely with our Account Executive team, share insights, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.
  • Hit Your Goals: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and opportunities created.
  • Accelerate Your Career: Develop advanced sales skills through mentorship from our elite sales team, with opportunities to specialize in enterprise accounts, industry verticals, or sales training and development. Clear path to promotion to full sales cycle roles for top performers.

What We're Looking For

  • Hunger & Drive: You are highly motivated and driven to achieve success in a competitive sales environment. You see "no" as a challenge to overcome, not a rejection.
  • Experience: 6-18 months of SDR/Prospecting experience in a b2b SaaS environment
  • Coachability: You actively ask for feedback and demonstrate a genuine ability to implement it quickly and effectively. You are always looking for ways to improve.
  • Resilience: You are not afraid of daily rejection and maintain a positive attitude in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity: You are a natural problem-solver who asks thoughtful, high-quality questions to understand prospect needs and uncover opportunities.
  • Team Player: You are collaborative, willing to help others, and understand that team success is the highest priority.
  • A Growth Mindset: You are eager to learn and grow your skills, with a clear vision for a long and successful career in sales.
  • Location: This role is an onsite role based out of our Austin Texas office. Relocation is not provided.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 Days: Master our product, value proposition, and sales methodology. You'll be comfortable with our sales tools and start building a strong pipeline.
  • 60 Days: Consistently hit your daily activity goals and start regularly booking qualified meetings.
  • 90 Days: You're a key contributor to the team, consistently exceeding your monthly meeting targets and building a reputation as a prospecting powerhouse.
  • 12 Months: Based on your performance, you are on track for a promotion to a full sales cycle closing role.

We are located at a beautiful office on 3rd Ave in the heart of San Mateo and 2 blocks from Caltrain. Some of our teams are remote while others have a hybrid model of coming into the office 3 days/week and remote 2 days/week.
