About the team/role:
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in expanding our sales pipeline by setting up qualified meetings for the field team, driving our company's growth and market reach. In this inside sales role, you’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives, helping to build our customer base and laying the foundation for strong client relationships. This role offers a clear path to advancement, with opportunities to transition into an Account Executive position as you master prospecting, lead qualification, and the fundamentals of relationship building and sales execution.
How you'll make an impact:

Responsible for engaging interest from prospects by making outbound calls from opportunities generated by our outside sales team.

Responsible for setting qualified appointments with decision makers.

Interact by phone and email with key personnel up to, and including, C-Level executives
-
Participate in ongoing sales training.

Utilize Salesforce, documenting calls, adding documents and processing accounts all electronically through the Salesforce environment.

Collaborating with the Field Team to ensure appointments are successful and prospects have a clear understanding of the purpose of the meeting from the field.

Meet established monthly sales quota of qualified appointments.

Required to work an established schedule within normal business hours.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
