Position Summary

The Sales & Business Development Coordinator supports Enterprise B2B prospecting, account management, and sales execution, helping ensure efficient sales processes, accurate customer and order information, timely reporting, and a positive customer experience. This position works closely with Key Account Managers and other members of the Sales team to qualify and route leads, prepare outreach, coordinate email marketing and SmartGift campaigns, and provide order, reporting, and administrative support. Sales managers and sellers retain ownership of strategy, pricing, and sensitive customer conversations.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain clean target lists using approved prospect criteria.
  • Prepare outreach packets and seller-ready marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Sales partners to execute email campaigns aligned with key holidays, seasonal opportunities, and business initiatives, including product selection support.
  • Review incoming leads and complete initial qualification.
  • Assign and route qualified leads to the correct sales owner in Salesforce.
  • Use and continue developing Salesforce knowledge to maintain customer and lead information, qualification notes, ownership, status, and next steps, and to support other operational needs.
  • Create, update, and maintain customer accounts in Atlas and Magento, ensuring accurate information and a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Track open actions and drive timely follow-through across the sales team.
  • Provide light customer contact for routine questions, scheduling, and updates.
  • Escalate pricing, strategy, and sensitive customer conversations to the seller.
  • Set up SmartGift accounts and campaigns and complete required approvals.
  • QA SmartGift builds, gift cards, sites, and product readiness before launch.
  • Support SmartGift and gift-card issue resolution through closure.
  • Enter and verify orders, customer and account details, site and product readiness, and delivery information.
  • Prepare ad hoc Sigma reports and provide team coverage as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected hourly rate for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by law.

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree, preferably in Sales or Business.
  • One to three years of comparable experience.

Skills

  • Prospect research and business development support.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with a demonstrated customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively with Sales team members, Key Account Managers, customers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Comfort learning and working across multiple technology platforms and business systems, including Salesforce, Atlas, Magento, SmartGift, and Sigma.
  • Accurate order entry and the ability to prepare basic sales reports.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Problem-solving ability and initiative to identify and help resolve operational issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
