The Center of Excellence Record to Report team is responsible for the accurate and timely recording of financial data following the general and IFRS based accounting principles.

Our team goals are to streamline accounting processes and implement new solutions and systems to drive enhanced performance and quality across all entities. With this the team plays a critical role, supporting our financial statements to become a transparent, compliant and strategic tool for decision-makers.

Record to Report Junior Accountant

Reporting to the RtR Manager, the Junior Accountant supports end-to-end accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. (S)He collaborates with local contacts and other supporting functions in the company (AP/T&E, FP&A and Treasury, etc.) and completes his/her daily activities with a 'service provider' mindset, fully in line with internal and external customer expectations.

Position description:

  • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks.
  • Perform general ledger, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations, including variance and discrepancy analysis.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and intercompany transactions, including invoice generation, verification and bank transaction postings.
  • Support financial reporting and statutory requirements, including preparation of financial statements, ad hoc reports and audit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and IFRS, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date Desktop Procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to process optimization, further centralization of RtR activities and overall business continuity.
