Job Description:

At Greif, we create packaging solutions that matter. We are looking for a Risk and Property Loss Control Specialist to support global risk management activities, with a strong focus on property loss control, insurance coordination, and cross-functional project support.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a project-oriented mindset who is comfortable working in a corporate environment, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating across functions.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate global property loss control initiatives
  • Manage the annual infrared scanning program, including scheduling, site support, and follow-up on actions
  • Coordinate engineering visits and property risk audits between insurers and operations
  • Track progress and support closure of risk and loss control recommendations
  • Help prioritize and support risk-related improvement projects
  • Gather and prepare information for insurance submissions and renewals
  • Provide certificates of insurance as needed
  • Support PO setup, invoice coordination, and payment tracking globally
  • Contribute to training and educational materials related to property loss control
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree required; background in finance, business, or related field is a plus
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured corporate environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Limited travel may be part of the role

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is Ft11,741,300.00 - Ft19,960,200.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between11,400,000.00 to15,600,000.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
