With more than 5 million microwave radio units delivered to date, MINI-LINK stands as one of the most successful and far-reaching product portfolios in the telecommunications industry.
Our Microwave organization within the Budapest R&D Center is setting up a new HW development team for MINI-LINK product family to further expand our already existing capabilities in Sweden. We are now seeking a skilled and motivated PCB layout designer to join our team and play a key technical leadership role in the design and development of electronics that power this globally trusted product.
What you will do:
As a PCB layout designer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of high-quality printed circuit boards that power one of the most widely deployed microwave solutions in the world. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing printed circuit board layouts in line with technical requirements and product specifications
- Ensuring PCB layout quality throughout the development process and managing the handover for manufacturing
- Collaborating closely with adjacent domains - including electronics, power electronics, mechanical, thermal, and system design - to optimize layout decisions and drive the best possible outcomes
The skills you bring:
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of PCB layout methodology, ways of working, and industry-standard tools
- A good understanding of adjacent engineering domains, including electronics, power electronics, mechanical, thermal, and system design
- Familiarity with or eagerness to develop a deep understanding of the MINI-LINK product portfolio
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-team environment
- The ability to deliver quality output independently and within a team, while also supporting and guiding colleagues
- A results-oriented attitude with high engagement
