POSITION SUMMARY
This fixed-term position will provide additional Revenue Management Support (RMS) capacity during the Power of M transition. The role will manage the day-to-day revenue management requirements of a flexible portfolio of hotels, enabling the hotels’ dedicated Revenue Managers to focus on Power of M deployment activities while maintaining continuity of core RMS service delivery and commercial support.
SCOPE
Responsible for delivering agreed business-as-usual revenue management activities across a flexible and changing portfolio of RMS-supported hotels. Portfolio assignments will align with Power of M deployment requirements and may change as hotels enter or complete transition activity. The role will maintain pricing, forecasting, inventory strategy, performance review and hotel communication in line with agreed Core Deliverables, helping protect revenue and profit while the dedicated Revenue Manager concentrates on Power of M tasks.
Provides BAU revenue management coverage that supports the wider RMS team through the Power of M transition. The role is not the primary owner of Power of M deployment tasks but may provide relevant hotel context, commercial input and handover support when required.
Provides revenue management functional expertise to hotels assigned within the flexible transition-support portfolio.
Location requirements: Contracted from London Regional Office however is a field-based role and therefore supports 100% remote working.
Language Requirements: High proficiency (speaking, reading and writing) in English is required. Multi language capability would be viewed as a bonus given the international nature of the business.
Travel Requirements: Up to 5% business travel may be required.

Expected Contributions
- Manage the day-to-day revenue management requirements of a flexible portfolio of RMS-supported hotels during the Power of M transition.
- Provide temporary BAU coverage for hotels whose dedicated Revenue Manager is completing Power of M deployment activities.
- Deliver agreed Core Deliverables, including pricing, inventory management, forecasting, performance analysis, reporting and hotel communication.
- Adapt quickly to changing portfolio assignments, hotel priorities and deployment waves, ensuring clear handovers and continuity of service.
- Maintain close communication with the dedicated Revenue Manager and RMS leadership, escalating material commercial risks, hotel concerns and support requirements promptly.
- Prepare and support sales strategy meetings, weekly strategy packs, forecasts, performance critiques and other routine RMS deliverables for assigned hotels.
- Execute agreed revenue strategies, promotions, programmes and packages accurately and within required deadlines.
- Build effective relationships with hotel leadership teams and provide clear, consistent revenue management guidance throughout the coverage period.
- Use technical knowledge, judgement and established RMS processes to resolve standard business requests and support strong commercial outcomes.
- Support structured portfolio handovers as hotels move into and out of Power of M transition activity.
- Perform other duties appropriate to the fixed-term transition-support role, as directed by the RMS EMEA Leadership Team.
Specific Expected Contributions (including duties and responsibilities)
- Provides consistent day-to-day revenue management support to assigned hotels, communicating pricing, competitive positioning, inventory controls and restrictions in line with agreed strategy and Core Deliverables.
- Utilizes Marriott’s revenue management systems and tools to maximize revenue and profit for both transient and group segments, as required by the agreed Core Deliverables.
- Prepares sales strategy meeting agenda and supporting documentation.
- Conducts Sales Strategy meetings with General Manager and key property staff to educate and evaluate pricing and inventory strategies. Develops and implements strategies with the General Manager that will maintain and/or increase the hotel’s RevPAR.
- Analyzes competitive performance using market share tools and shares recommendations for improvement with hotel teams.
- Conducts remote system diagnostics audits and provide consistent recommendations.
- Delivers training to various team members at contracted properties, ensuring hotel responsibilities are clear and manageable.
- Executes pricing through High Performance Pricing, to include promotions, programs, and packages. Ensures compliance and participation in company promotions and digital channels, completing set up in HPP and eFast.
- Ensures retail rates are evaluated through One Yield’s Retail Pricing Optimizer and updated based on changes in demand, product, or competitive positioning.
- Ensures retail price parity is executed across all booking channels and ensure that the Hotel(s) sales strategies are effectively implemented in the reservation system and the inventory systems in a timely manner.
- Ensures that technical questions relating to reservations and property management systems are escalated to the correct support desk in a timely manner. Assists hotels with pricing and provides input on business evaluation recommendations, if required in the assigned core deliverables.
- Perform ad-hoc revenue tasks and analysis as directed by RMS Senior Leadership team.
- Leads efforts to coordinate strategies between group sales offices, if required in the assigned core deliverables.
- Conducts any analysis required to maximize room revenue and profit, in line with agreed service deliverables.
- Analyzes reports and available information to make long-term pricing recommendations with brand initiatives as a key focus.
- Critiques property performance weekly/monthly for Transient & Group segments for assigned hotel(s).
- Prepares, communicates, and critiques weekly and monthly rooms projections, in line with agreed service deliverables.
- Responsible for accurate execution of inventory management tasks.
- Uses demand forecast and relevant data points to determine, implement and control selling strategies.
- Drives compliance and participation in company promotions and digital channels.
Fixed-Term Assignment Context: This role is specifically established to provide additional BAU capacity during the Power of M transition. Portfolio size and hotel allocation will remain flexible and will be determined by deployment demand and RMS business priorities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major. 3 years’ experience in the revenue management discipline.
