The Role
Veeva is looking for a self-motivated individual with operations experience to join our Order to Cash team based in Shanghai, a positive attitude and a customer service orientation. This individual will be the regional owner of the Order to Cash (OTC) process. This role requires effective communication in a team environment while interacting with cross-functional, cross-regional departments, including Sales, Professional Service teams as well as the US Revenue team.
This position reports to the Revenue Manager, Asia and will manage all revenue-related matters in China and APAC regions.
What You'll Do
- Work with the Revenue Manager/Supervisor to handle all revenue accounting, taxation, statutory and treasury matters across all business units in China and APAC
- Interact with Sales Support, Sales and Strategy team in contracts review
- Manage sales orders and invoices based on Executed contracts
- Build strong trust with sales and strategy team
- Responsible for investigation and resolution of unusual items related to billing and revenue
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives, and support the simplification and standardization of order-to-cash processes
- Serve as backup revenue specialist for all other APAC region
- Any other ad hoc assignment
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or the related degree
- Proficient in English - both verbal and written communication.
- Useful Korean in Writing
- Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills.
- Highly proficient in MS office applications: Excel, Power Point, and Word.
Nice to Have
- Japanese or Korean-speaking
- Experience in Net Suite
- Software industry experience, especially SaaS
