Responsible for providing leadership and management of all supply chain efforts for facilities in a defined region. This position manages supply chain operations across all facilities, ensuring alignment with system initiatives and overseeing operations such as receiving, logistics, distribution, inventory management, value analysis, and customer service. Additionally, this role oversees the deployment of efforts related to operational excellence, contract compliance, conversions, utilization, and standardization of supplies, services, and equipment. In addition, this position creates and implements proactive strategies to improve processes, reduce supply and purchased services expenses, and ensure best practices are in place to monitor, control, and identify issues. Additionally, this role builds relationships within the region and at corporate services to promote the delivery of the lowest total cost of supplies, services, and equipment. This position supports clinical, functional, operational, and quality criteria necessary to fulfill the organization's mission.
- Oversees daily supply chain operations and initiatives within a defined region. Manages and develops supply chain leaders to ensure continuous operational capability.
- Directly manages all Supply Chain Directors, Managers, and Clinical Resource Managers within the region.
- Develops and implements processes to streamline operations and create savings. Coordinates with VP Supply Chain Operations to set regional strategy and goals aligned with corporate initiatives.
- Builds and manages relationships with regional leadership to ensure supply chain strategies align with financial, functional, and clinical strategies.
- Analyzes operations and expenses to achieve operational excellence and top benchmark scores.
- Oversees the selection and training of new Supply Chain Management personnel in the facilities.
- Serves as the primary liaison between corporate supply chain and hospital CFOs to align initiatives.
- Educates, communicates, and ensures adoption of corporate initiatives and contracts.
- Reviews regional statistical data, financial reports, budgets, and cost analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provides direction for customer support activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare supply chain operations and processes [Required]
- Deep understanding of clinical/functional departments and hospital operations [Required]
- Ability to effectively communicate to various groups, ranging from hospital supply chain staff and clinicians to corporate executives verbally and in writing [Required]
- Proficient use of Microsoft applications and materials management/ERP systems [Required]
- Ability to design and implement effective value analysis, contracting, capital equipment procurement, and cost reduction processes [Required]
- Ability to provide Supply Chain leadership, strategic direction, oversight, and collaboration of parties across multiple disciplines and facilities to meet goals [Required]
- Proven ability to recognize colleagues’ strengths and development opportunities and provide them with ongoing feedback and coaching [Required] Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple facilities simultaneously [Required]

Pay Range:
