Recycling Coordinator
Reports to: Dottie Kelly
Department: ISO
Job Status: Full-Time / Hourly
Mobility Profile: On Location
Position Summary: Primary function is to be the internal endpoint for recycling processes before materials are recycled or disposed of externally, with most hours worked outside.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate various construction and demolition materials for recycling
- Handling of waste hoppers and dumpsters
- Frequent forklift operation
- Collect and bundle cardboard and plastic
- Use of compactors and balers
- Maintain wash water systems and water treatment
- Active team member of Spill Response and Prevention Team
- Groundskeeping
- Hazardous material disposal and handling
- Assist with material handling and receiving, production process, and maintenance as needed
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
- Works in an environment that includes exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Work primarily involves standing, may involve a moderate amount of bending / stretching.
