Job Summary
The Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting a broad array of HR service delivery functions across the employee lifecycle for a workforce exceeding 30,000 employees. This position provides operational support in job requisition management, onboarding, promotions, transfers, offboarding, compliance activities, and workforce changes by partnering with internal teams and external vendors. The Specialist ensures accurate and efficient processing through systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, and Five9 while maintaining regulatory compliance and internal policy adherence.
This position reports to the Employee Lifecycle Supervisor and is in the Employee Service Center (ESC).
Responsibilities
Manage job requisitions from initiation to approval, including refreshing evergreen requisitions and updating the job catalog.
Ensure job postings and job board content comply with regulatory requirements, including pay transparency and specialized legal language.
Diagnose and address Workday data and process issues to preserve data accuracy and ensure smooth HR operations.
Approve job change requests in Workday—such as promotions, transfers, and lateral moves—while ensuring data accuracy and adherence to policies and compliance standards.
Review and authorize Workday employee data changes, maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal controls and legal requirements.
Calculate and validate continuous service dates in employee records according to policy.
Manage termination processes and offboarding activities, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
Initiate and oversee background checks and pre-employment drug screenings including adjudication activities.
Complete the I-9 verification and E-Verify work authorization processes, ensuring ongoing adherence to compliance standards
Provide troubleshooting and training support to Talent Acquisition and People Partner teams on systems and processes.
Handle HR-related cases in ServiceNow and serve as backup support for People Operations Service Desk team as needed.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to promptly resolve issues and maintain the integrity of employee data.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR operations, HRIS administration, or a related HR support role.
Proficient knowledge of Workday or similar Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, including employee data management and job change processes.
Experience managing job requisitions, job postings, and job catalog maintenance in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to pay transparency, E-Verify, I-9 verification, and background checks.
Strong attention to detail with aptitude for data accuracy and compliance.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot HR systems issues and support complex business processes

Physical Demands / Working Environment
This job is located out of GPC’s global headquarters. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment. Hybrid four days in office one day remote.
