We're looking for friendly, professional and customer-focused individuals to join our Reception team in our Joondalup Contact Centre. 

As a Receptionist, you'll play a key role in creating positive first impressions by answering incoming member calls, understanding their needs and connecting them with the right RAC team. Every interaction is an opportunity to deliver exceptional service and help our members get the support they need. 

This position works on a flexible roster between Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 8:30pm, with rotational Saturdays between 8:30am – 5:00pm. 

What you'll be doing 

  • Answer incoming member calls in a welcoming, professional and efficient manner. 
  • Accurately identify member needs and direct calls to the most appropriate RAC department. 
  • Build rapport and create positive experiences for members from their very first interaction. 
  • Identify, acknowledge and escalate member feedback and complaints through the appropriate channels. 
  • Support service level targets by managing calls efficiently and assisting with queue-busting activities when required. 
  • Complete data entry and general administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a phone-based or contact centre environment. 
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • A friendly, professional and confident telephone manner. 
  • The ability to follow processes and call scripting while delivering personalised service. 
  • Sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Reliability, flexibility and a positive team-focused approach.
  • Confidence using computer systems and completing administrative tasks accurately.
