WDAF-TV/Fox 4 in Kansas City is seeking a service-oriented, motivated, and friendly Front Desk Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting station visitors, answering and directing phone calls, interacting with clients and guests, and providing administrative support to staff and management. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each person’s visit and direct them accordingly.
- Answers viewer questions and routes calls to appropriate departments when necessary
- Responds to viewer emails and feedback
- Executes sales contests and sponsorships including contacting and distributing prize packages to winners
- Build sales proposals in Power Point
- Accepts and distributes daily mail and all packages from couriers and prepares outgoing mail and packages for pick-up.
- Stocks coffee and breakroom supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills
- High School Diploma
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Minimum one year’s experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
