R2R BI Subject Matter Expert
The Global Reporting Centre of Excellence (GR CoE) brings together a team of experienced & dynamic management reporting, SAP BI subject matter experts and BI development professionals. We deliver engaging, efficient & insightful reporting and analysis solutions based on the rich and diverse data set available through GSK’s global deployment of SAP.
In this role you will…
Process:
-
Support BI Reporting Manager in leading the R2R BI work stream by implementing the Reporting and Information Management Strategy and driving a global approach with the minimization of local, above market and corporate variation

Monitor and co-ordinate R2R reporting demand with the wider GRCoE by collection, collation and cataloguing of BI data requirements, metrics and KPI’s from the business and shared services

Own the R2R BI Report Catalogue in terms of content, purpose, intended audience and output

Identify opportunities to standardise the reporting and KPIs and to drive the development and generation of insightful and value-added information
People/Organization:
-
Coordinate with BI Reporting Manager on wider engagement with senior stakeholders, Tech and GPO
System:
-
Preparation of the system / business requirements and detailed specifications for the operational and management reports and the KPIs

Provide SME support for BI enhancements

Support BI Reporting Manager in the ongoing processes to manage reporting changes including for example new reporting requests

Provide technical and governance assistance in the implementation and steady state operations of the R2R Reports
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.

Proven track record of managing strategic projects and driving innovation plus fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.

Strong understanding of financial principles and how they relate to BI and analytics
-
Strong functional knowledge of BI tools and platforms such as Power BI, SAC, SAP BW, SAP BI, S/4 HANA
-
Proven ability to identify and evaluate data sources that can be leveraged to meet business reporting and analytics needs.

Experience in ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and reliability while integrating data from multiple sources.

Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

Proficiency in advanced data visualization techniques and storytelling through data

Proven ability to articulate and quantify the business value of BI initiatives to stakeholders.

Strong experience in developing business cases and ROI analyses for BI projects.

Ability to track and measure the impact of BI solutions on business performance and key metrics.
