Stryker is hiring an entry-level Quality Engineer, Master Data to support our Neurovascular division. This is a hybrid position based in Fremont, CA with onsite presence required three days per week.
As the Quality Engineer, Master Data, you will play a key role in supporting the systems, data, and processes that enable successful product launches and lifecycle management activities. This position partners across project management, operations, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams to ensure product master data is accurate, aligned, and accessible across multiple enterprise systems. You will contribute to product launches, data governance, and process improvement initiatives while building expertise in global data management within a regulated medical device environment.
What You Will Do
Support product launches by executing system setup activities and maintaining accurate product master data across enterprise systems.
Create, update, and maintain master and transactional data within product lifecycle management systems, ERP platforms, and global item management tools.
Partner with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure product data is complete, accurate, and aligned across systems.
Monitor data integrity and consistency across multiple business systems and resolve data discrepancies to support downstream processes.
Support product lifecycle activities, including new product introductions, product changes, and product obsolescence initiatives.
Follow established quality and regulatory procedures related to data governance and master data management.
Analyze data trends, identify process improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute to documentation, training materials, and process enhancements that support scalable and repeatable data management practices.
What You Need
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
0-2 years of experience in data management, business systems, supply chain, operations, engineering support, or a related analytical role.
Experience working with data analysis tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel functions, formulas, reporting, and data validation.
Experience supporting cross-functional projects involving data management, product lifecycle activities, or business process improvement.
Preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in master data management, business systems, ERP administration, or a related data-focused function.
Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industry.
Experience supporting system setup and data management activities for product launches or product lifecycle projects.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP and/or Oracle.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
