Stryker is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer, Master Data to join our Neurovascular division. This is a hybrid position based in Fremont, CA with onsite presence required three days per week.
As the Senior Quality Engineer, Master Data, you will support the systems and data infrastructure behind innovative medical device launches. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product data accuracy across multiple enterprise systems, ensuring seamless product lifecycle management from launch through commercialization and eventual obsolescence. You will work across functions, partner with project teams, and contribute to process improvements that help maintain data quality and operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
Manage creation, maintenance, and updates of product master and transactional data across product lifecycle management systems, enterprise resource planning systems, and global item management platforms.
Partner with Project Managers to execute end-to-end system setup activities for new product launches, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and readiness across commercial systems.
Support product lifecycle activities, including product introductions, product changes, and product discontinuations through accurate and timely master data management.
Monitor data consistency and integrity across multiple systems and resolve discrepancies that could impact business processes or reporting.
Maintain compliance with quality management procedures and regulatory requirements related to product master data.
Analyze data trends and identify opportunities to improve data management processes, system performance, and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and training materials related to product master data processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate change requests, provide data-driven recommendations, and support business decision-making.
What You Need
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of full-time work experience in data management, business systems, supply chain, operations, engineering support, analytics, or a related field.
Experience managing, analyzing, or maintaining data within business systems and databases.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, reporting, and data validation.
Preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in master data management, enterprise systems, or related data-focused roles.
Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industry.
Experience supporting system setup activities for product launches or product lifecycle management projects.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP and/or Oracle.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
