Job Description

As a Quality control Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining an effective quality control system in the areas of good receive Inspection (GR), In-Process control and final Inspection. Leads the organization operationally including all dimensions from HR, budget, cost, quality, time, technology, and collaboration with related departments. Ensures efficient and complete quality control according to quality plans, requirements and standards.

  • Build and maintain the organization and contribute to excellent Control processes that ensure that all.
  • Develop and maintain the required skills within the QC area to ensure efficient control processes. Focus on capacities, know-how, collaboration and personal development of individuals.
  • Plan and oversee daily operations to meet targets in terms of quantities, dates and quality requirements with a focus on setting priorities, guiding the team and taking corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement to contribute to annual efficiency increasement.
  • Fulfill requirement regarding compliance and quality (QMS, Health and Safety,) by continuously monitoring adherence and taking corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in engineering.
  • More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality sector. Experience in Electronic Assembly or Wire Harness manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
  • Awareness in ISO9001, 14001, 13485, 45001 and IATF16949.
  • Knowledge on Process Optimization, Problem Solving Techniques and Quality control methods. 
  • Should possess the art of people handling/ decision making/ data analyzing / problem solving/ leadership and Team management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.

Skills Required

  • Degree or diploma in engineering
  • More than 3 years of experience in the manufacturing quality sector
  • Experience in electronic assembly or wire harness manufacturing
  • Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949
  • Knowledge of process optimization, problem-solving techniques, and quality control methods
