MISSION
Guarantee the continuity of flow and management within the area of responsibility, ensure sustainable SMQDC performance, harmonize Industrial Relations, and develop the autonomy and professionalism of people in support of Organizational Responsibility and operational excellence.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
The Executive - Production guarantees the continuity of operational flow and management across the area of responsibility while developing the autonomy, professionalism, and wellbeing of people to achieve sustainable SMQDC performance.
1. Flow and Operational Performance Leadership
- Ensure achievement of PDP (Production Plan) objectives while respecting SMQDC and transversal requirements.
- Guarantee continuity of operations and management across Business Units within the scope of responsibility.
- Arbitrate operational priorities between Business Units in alignment with Plant Steering Management Team (PSMT) guidelines.
- Ensure continuity of workshop performance through effective resource allocation and decision-making.
- Authorize and coordinate deliveries and supply transfers to other entities when required.
- Ensure weigh bridge operation.
2. Organizational Responsibility (OR) and Crew Development
- Support continuity of management and deployment of the Organizational Responsibility (OR) approach.
- Develop the responsibility and autonomy of Delivery Spokes and operational teams.
- Ensure alignment between business needs, workforce competencies, and organizational requirements.
- Develop crew capability, polyvalence, and readiness to support sustainable performance.
3. Industrial Relations and People Leadership
- Harmonize Industrial Relations and maintain a positive social climate across the area of responsibility.
- Independently manage and resolve workforce-related issues, conflicts, and sensitive operational situations when required.
- Promote company values, respect, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
- Ensure Safety remains a fundamental value and responsibility for all employees.
4. Operational Excellence
- Drive continuous performance improvement through application of MMW principles, standards, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ensure Crew SMQDC performance levels are achieved while respecting operational standards.
- Reduce variation and improve operational stability through disciplined management routines.
- Ensure sustainability of performance and standards over time.
5. Company Values and Transformation
- Act as a role model for Michelin values, purpose, and strategic objectives.
- Support plant transformation initiatives, digitalization efforts, and operational improvements.
- Foster empowerment, accountability, and collaboration across teams and Business Units.
6. Admin-Related Activities
- Ensure all time and attendance processes comply with company standards.
- Share meal and snack order details with the Employee Experience team.
- Inform and coordinate with the Employee Experience team during ad hoc situations (e.g., site shutdowns).
- Verify completion of cleaning activities by signing the cleaning verification sheet.
- Timely attend when operation requirement.
- Weekend/ off day and night shift operation requirement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, production, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in managing production flow and workforce coordination in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous internship exposure at Michelin will be an added advantage.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, scheduling, and performance management.
- Exposure to employee/industrial relations management is an advantage.
- Willingness to work 12-hour day and night shifts operations.
