Job Description
Job Title: Quality Assurance – UI PathLocation: HyderabadRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced RPA QA Test Engineer to support the quality assurance of Robotic Process Automation solutions across business-critical processes. The role will be responsible for understanding RPA bot requirements, coordinating with Developers, Business Analysts, and business Subject Matter Experts, and executing end-to-end QA activities across Integrated Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and RAMP phases.Key Responsibilities
- Participate in business requirement sessions and proactively seek clarifications to ensure complete understanding of RPA bot requirements.
- Estimate testing effort and coordinate with Developers and business stakeholders to align testing schedules.
- Facilitate test strategy discussions with business teams, prepare test strategies and scenarios, and obtain required business sign-off.
- Prepare Integrated Unit Testing (IUT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test scenarios.
- Perform data mining and support test data setup for both IUT and UAT execution.
- Proactively identify and resolve test environment, test data, and access-related issues.
- Coordinate with Developers and business teams on RAMP test planning and execution.
- Facilitate UAT and RAMP testing with business stakeholders and obtain execution completion sign-off.
- Perform UAT and RAMP defect triaging and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Provide regular status updates to business stakeholders during UAT and RAMP phases.
- Document test results with appropriate level of detail and maintain clear testing evidence.
- Track, manage, and report defects using JIRA.
- Measure and report testing KPIs to support quality visibility and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain QA guidelines, process documentation, and testing best practices.
- Maintain the regression test suite and explore opportunities for regression suite automation.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities across testing and test data setup activities.
- Around 7+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of testing experience in UiPath and/or Blue Prism applications or solutions.
- Strong understanding of integration testing, UAT, defect management, regression testing, and QA lifecycle processes.
- Experience in the insurance domain is required.
- Hands-on exposure to UiPath Document Understanding, including annotations and model training.
- Experience working with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Developers, Business Analysts, business SMEs, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- UiPath Test Automation Engineer Professional certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with Copilot, Claude, or similar AI tools to generate or enhance test artifacts.
- Experience identifying automation opportunities within QA processes, regression testing, and test data setup.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive signoffs and testing alignment across business and technology teams.
