How You'll Make an Impact
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to deliver high quality of Spectrum software applications
  • Define and monitor quality assurance metrics including defects, test results and test status
  • Collect and analyze data to identify process improvements that support Spectrum business needs
  • Document software issues and assist in their timely resolution
  • Deliver quality process training to technical staff and serve as an internal consultant for quality standards
  • Conduct quality audits across IT functions to ensure adherence to Spectrum's quality standards, procedures and methodologies
  • Collaborate effectively as a subject matter expert on project teams spanning multiple systems and environments

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of system development, business or systems analysis, testing or business experience

Skills
  • Proficient written and verbal communication in English
  • Strong attention to deadlines and deliverables
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Exposure to test automation tools
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability, including defect analysis and resolution
  • Effective working with cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Professional, approachable demeanor with sound judgment and discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated critical thinking
  • Skilled at negotiating with stakeholders while maintaining a positive approach
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes, tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with HP Test Suite or similar testing tools
  • Understanding of database schemas and querying tools
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in API testing using Postman or Soap UI
  • Knowledge of Amdocs Billing system

Education
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Testing Certification
