The Role

As a Publisher Specialist, you will be responsible for learning and understanding publisher performance data to be able to serve as a subject matter expert on accounts. You will collaborate with the Partner Managers and Technical Account Managers to optimize and generate maximum value for adMarketplace’s publisher partners.

In this role, you will use data analysis, soft skills and cross-team collaboration to enable successful relationships with our publishers. You will also support account teams in designing and executing on partner strategy and growth. An ideal candidate is a problem solver, comfortable with data and analytics, is collaborative with strong communication skills, and process oriented.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the performance monitoring and optimization of media placements across multiple publisher partners

  • Analyze daily performance data to ensure accounts remain healthy, profitable, and aligned with partner goals

  • Engage directly with publisher partners to share performance updates, insights, and optimization recommendations

  • Identify and communicate growth opportunities and potential risks in a timely manner

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Operations, and Demand teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes

  • Leverage internal and external data to uncover trends and inform account strategy

  • Support onboarding of new publisher placements by ensuring tracking, reporting, and optimization readiness

  • Maintain accurate documentation of performance metrics, account updates, and key insights

  • Contribute market intelligence and partner feedback to inform product and feature development

  • Project manage internal initiatives related to publisher performance and growth

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply

  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable using data & insights to identify and solve problems

  • Adaptable and able to work within a team, handle multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines

  • Excited about bridging business needs with technical and analytical skills to solve problems and deliver results

  • Strong communicator with an interest in building relationships and working collaboratively across teams

  • Demonstrated tenacity, ownership, and a commitment to delivering results and being accountable for outcomes

  • Curious and eager to learn, with the ability to quickly develop an understanding of new products, technologies, and business concepts

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-growth environment

  • Comfortable working with data and business tools, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience through internships, coursework, extracurriculars, or previous roles that demonstrates strong problem-solving, organization, or relationship-building skills

*Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 + Commission & Equity

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
