Sr. Construction Project Manager, In-Field Training

As a Senior Construction Project Manager, In-Field Training, you will champion our in-field leadership training programs. You will bring deep experience in the Construction Project Management field, preferably in an enterprise-level solar capacity, and you will apply this experience to training our Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other project leaders. You will bring operational organization and expertise while building training programs for leadership, budget management, soft skill training, prioritization, organization, procurement, and vendor management.
What you’ll be doing:
- Understand and critically evaluate systems and software end-to-end for strengths, weaknesses, impacts and improvements
- Execute on training and development programs that scale
- Lead process improvement initiatives though quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making
- Teach all aspects of managing a project, understanding the construction process from bid to completion
- Create, revise and maintain project and resource plans including defining scope, deliverables, and ROI
- Complete standard project communications such as blockers, risk mitigation alternatives, and implementation plans
- Establish and maintain a strong partnership with internal stakeholders, quickly involving those stakeholders to resolve blockers
- Traveling on-site (50%+) to perform trainings and mentorship sessions
What you should have:
- Preferred 10+ years project management experience, preferably in Solar
- Demonstrated success as a Project Manager with an ability to adapt to different systems and processes
- Ability to work with limited direction and with ambiguity without a loss of performance
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfort presenting to senior leaders
- Demonstrated excellence in influencing and managing change across a distributed team
- Possesses a passion for process improvement with an approach that encourages innovation, elimination of waste, and output improvements
- Demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex business processes, systems, and tools while accounting for downstream impact
