The RoleThe Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise SaaS implementation projects on Innovapptive’s Connected Worker Platform. This is an Individual Contributor role with strong leadership accountability—mentoring team members, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful customer outcomes.
This role is primarily Waterfall-focused, and candidates with solid Waterfall execution experience will be given preference.
What You Bring to The Team- Must have experience working with the Software / IT industry.
- Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience.
- Strong and proven Waterfall project delivery experience is mandatory.
- Strong leadership capability within an IC role.
- Excellent communication skills—presentation, documentation, and stakeholder influencing.
- Experience managing internal and customer-facing stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Practical hands-on use of AI tools to improve productivity, reporting, or decision-making.
- Exposure to EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) or ERP systems (SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle EAM, Infor).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- PMP Certified(preferred) or PRINCE2, ITIL (added advantage)
Project Delivery (Waterfall-Focused)
- Lead full project lifecycle (initiation → planning → execution → UAT → go-live → closure) using a Waterfall delivery model.
- Build detailed project plans, WBS, schedules, risk registers, and mitigation strategies.
- Drive on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with Innovapptive’s Value 360 methodology.
- Maintain strict control over scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer value metrics.
- Execute structured change control processes for any deviations.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the single point of contact for customer project teams and business stakeholders.
- Drive transparent communication through governance meetings, Steering Committees, and progress reviews.
- Build trust through proactive communication and delivery rigor.
Cross-Functional Leadership (IC Role with Leadership Influence)
- Lead and coordinate internal teams (Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Engineers, QA).
- Influence delivery teams without direct reporting lines.
- Identify and resolve execution bottlenecks.
Financial Governance & Reporting
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, margin tracking, and billing milestones.
- Ensure adherence to SOW and contractual commitments.
- Track and report value realization metrics post go-live.
AI-Enabled Productivity
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Jira AI, etc.) for documentation, reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
- Encourage and integrate AI-enabled efficiency methods into project workflows.
