Description
The MMI CORE Project Manager will support delivery execution across the Worksite Insurance portfolio by providing disciplined program and portfolio management for active initiatives and smaller, high‑impact efforts. This role focuses on execution rigor, governance, and coordination—ensuring projects are well‑managed, risks are surfaced early, and stakeholders receive clear and consistent information.
The CORE Project Manager partners closely with U.S.‑based senior Project Managers, business leads, technology teams, vendors, and ETX partners, enabling experienced FTE PMs to focus on complex delivery, strategic outcomes, and executive engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management Support:
- Maintain and manage core project artifacts, including project charters, schedules, RAID logs (risks, issues, dependencies, decisions), and action item trackers
- Track milestones, deliverables, and key risks; proactively escalate concerns
- Maintain detailed project plans and integrated timelines across workstreams
- Coordinate vendor deliverables and milestones in partnership with ETX and external partners
- Prepare accurate and timely status reporting for leadership, SteerCo, and portfolio reviews
- Draft meeting agendas, capture meeting notes, and document decisions and action items
- Follow up on action items to ensure accountability and timely completion
Portfolio‑Level Initiative Ownership:
- Own and manage smaller, cross‑functional initiatives that do not require a full FTE Project Manager
- Support tactical, operational, or regulatory efforts requiring disciplined coordination and follow‑through
- Ensure initiatives remain active, risks are visible, and delivery does not stall due to capacity constraints
- Apply consistent governance, controls, and reporting standards across assigned efforts

- Clear, reliable reporting for leadership and portfolio reviews
- Strong coordination with U.S. stakeholders, vendors, and ETX partners
- Improved capacity and focus for senior Project Managers
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience supporting project or program delivery in a corporate or regulated environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong organizational, documentation, and follow‑through skills
- Experience working with cross‑functional business and technology teams, including global stakeholders
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Experience supporting U.S.‑based business partners or global delivery models
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries
- Exposure to vendor‑supported delivery or ETX‑style partner engagement
- Familiarity with project governance, reporting standards, and delivery controls
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification (or progress toward certification)
