Your role and responsibilities
The IS Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering infrastructure projects within the on premises hosting environment. The successful candidate will bring together technical project management expertise, strong client engagement skills, proactive problem solving, and experience coordinating planned changes within production environments.

You will be mainly accountable for:
• Leading and delivering infrastructure projects in the on premises hosting environment (e.g., hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, and deployment of new services).
• Managing the full project lifecycle from initiation, scoping, and planning through execution, testing, and transition to operations, including coordination of planned maintenance windows and change management activities to minimize disruption to production services.
• Acting as the primary client interface, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and alignment between business requirements and technical delivery.
• Translating complex technical details into understandable terms for non technical stakeholders.
• Coordinating cross functional internal teams (system administrators, network, storage, and security engineers) and external vendors.
• Preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Facilitating regular client meetings, steering committees, and progress updates.
• Identifying and managing project risks, dependencies, and escalations proactively.
• Coordinating implementation of scheduled changes during maintenance windows (non standard working hours).
Qualifications for the role:
• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, including large scale infrastructure or hosting projects.
• Proven track record in leading complex, multi stakeholder, or client facing initiatives.
• Familiarity with hosting technologies and concepts (eg. VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter, Microsoft Hyper V, Veem, Commvault)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills able to build trust and drive alignment with technical and business stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to coordinate planned maintenance and infrastructure changes outside standard business hours and on weekends, with all activities scheduled and agreed in advance.
• Solid knowledge of project management frameworks (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) and experience with PM tools (e.g. MS Project, Planner).
• Fluent in English (C1 level preferred).
