The Opportunity:

We are looking to fill an opening for an experienced Project Manager to join the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) .

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Program Management, this role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of complex, strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives, including large-scale integration, transformation, and regulatory programs.

This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and influence, partnering closely with executive sponsors, senior leaders, business owners, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver measurable business outcomes.

What your day looks like:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent, high-impact enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and regulatory obligations
  • Own end-to-end project governance, including scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, quality, risk, and benefits realization
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, financial forecasts, and resource models, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and variance management
  • Provide integration leadership across strategic and departmental initiatives, proactively identifying interdependencies, constraints, and delivery risks
  • Lead issue resolution, risk mitigation, and escalation management, recommending options and trade-offs to enable informed decision-making
  • Deliver clear, concise, and timely project performance reporting to executive leadership, sponsors, and governance forums
  • Drive change management activities related to scope, schedule, cost, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful adoption and realization of benefits
  • Promote continuous improvement by strengthening project delivery practices, standards, tools, and templates across the organization

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, OPM3, or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives within matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated experience delivering integrated system initiatives using Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
  • Advanced skills in critical path analysis, recovery planning, and remediation of at-risk projects
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills, with the ability to influence, facilitate, and build alignment across business, technology, and executive teams
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to challenge assumptions, navigate ambiguity, analyze complex issues, and drive informed decision-making
  • Strong functional knowledge of project accounting, financial forecasting, cost control, capital/expense management, and governance processes
  • Experience managing cross-functional business and technology initiatives, with exposure to regulatory and compliance-driven programs. Knowledge of financial services regulations and industry standards is preferred
  • Experience managing commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and third-party service providers
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $110,000 - 125,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.

Skills Required

  • 7+ years of work experience with a minimum of 5+ years of recent project management experience in complex, matrix organizations
  • Proven experience managing Capital Markets projects and/or delivering regulatory compliance initiatives with strong understanding of financial regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent understanding of project management best practices and project life cycle disciplines
  • Experience with integrated systems lifecycle development using multiple development models (agile, waterfall, hybrid)
  • Experience with critical path analysis, project planning, and remediation
  • Functional knowledge of project accounting, budget planning, cost control, capital/expense approval and management procedures for project tracking
  • Understanding of services agreements related to commercial contracts and information/technology systems
  • Strong prioritization, delegation, and administrative skills to manage multiple cross-departmental projects
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience working for organizations in transformation with ability to manage change and ambiguity
  • Fluent communication skills in English
  • Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Project Management Certification in Prince2, PMI, or OPM3 (or equivalent)
  • Bilingual skills in French
