The Project Engineer position is a key role at NOV, where you will be responsible for driving the success of field engineering projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with design engineering teams, creating project quotations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient project planning process. Additionally, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors, as well as monitoring and controlling projects to meet our high standards. Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage field engineering projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Adhere to standardized field engineering processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with design engineering for project quotations and customer submissions.
  • Plan and execute projects, including scope definition, Project Execution Plan (PEP) creation, and purchase order management.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Monitor and control projects, managing risks, changes, and progress.
  • Maximize financial results through accurate costing, forecasting, and gross margin management.
  • Identify and manage critical path activities, developing contingency plans.
  • Visit job sites and customer offices as needed, ensuring effective communication.
  • Oversee project closeout, including customer confirmations, invoicing, and post-project reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of field engineering processes and global operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in project planning, risk assessment, and change management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Willingness to travel for job site visits and customer engagements.
  • PMP Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills Required
