Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Project Coordinator to manage end-to-end execution of commercial interior fit-out and workplace projects in Bangalore. The role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in project planning, construction coordination, commercial interiors, workplace projects, stakeholder management, and project documentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution- Manage end-to-end commercial interior fit-out and workplace projects.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project execution from design through project handover.
- Track project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and design teams.
- Review drawings for constructability and compliance.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Resolve technical and construction issues during project execution.
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Monitor vendor performance, quality, and project timelines.
- Manage procurement coordination and material tracking.
- Process RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Monitor construction quality and workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Supervise installation activities for interiors, MEP coordination, furniture, and finishes.
- Serve as the primary coordination point between clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Conduct project review meetings.
- Prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM), daily progress reports, and project status updates.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project documentation and project closeout reports.
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, logs, and dashboards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Ensure proper documentation during project handover.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations and organizational standards.
