We are looking for a Rural Health Transformation Coordinator to facilitate communication, organize meetings, track progress, and ensure alignment across multiple divisions and stakeholders within the IDHS EMS Division and partner agencies. This position will be Full-Time and Remote/Hybrid/Onsite (please specify).
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary liaison between IDHS EMS and other state agencies for rural health transformation efforts
Coordinate interagency meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions
Maintain project documentation, including timelines, deliverables, and status reports
Track progress on initiatives and provide regular updates to leadership
Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment
Support preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing materials for leadership and partners
Assist with scheduling, logistics, and documentation for workgroups and committees
Identify coordination challenges and escalate issues to leadership as needed
What You'll Need
Required:
Strong project coordination skills and experience in EMS, healthcare coordination, public health, or government program support (minimum 4 years)
Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across agencies
Familiarity with Indiana’s rural healthcare and EMS systems.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$34 - $36 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
