About this opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead large-scale network optimization and transformation programs for strategic telecommunications customers in Mexico.
In this role, you will serve as the primary interface between Ericsson and the customer, driving operational excellence, governance, stakeholder alignment, and program execution across multiple network optimization streams.
You will be responsible for orchestrating cross-functional teams, managing customer relationships, driving KPI performance, handling escalations, and ensuring successful delivery of network optimization objectives. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, leadership, business acumen, and executive communication skills.
What you will do
- Lead and coordinate multiple network optimization streams across LTE, 5G, and legacy network technologies.
- Act as the primary customer-facing representative for operational and program-related activities.
- Drive governance forums, program reviews, and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor and improve network performance KPIs and operational objectives.
- Manage customer escalations, risk mitigation plans, and delivery challenges.
- Align internal stakeholders and customer teams to ensure successful program execution.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on network performance analysis and optimization initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams without direct authority and drive collaboration toward common objectives.
- Support business growth and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
- Understanding of the Mexican telecommunications market.

- 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong experience in network optimization across LTE and 5G technologies.
- Understanding of network performance management, KPIs, and optimization methodologies.
- Experience leading large-scale customer programs, strategic delivery engagements, or technical transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer escalations and complex operational challenges.
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business discussions for executive audiences.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Experience working in multi-vendor telecommunications environments.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Experience managing complex customer relationships and executive stakeholder engagement.
