About Airwallex

Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own.

We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,700 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles to see it in full.

How you'll make impact

Own how T:0 is positioned, understood, and chosen by its customers. You’ll combine customer research, positioning, exceptional writing, product content, launches, SEO, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, pricing and packaging to turn strategy into work customers can see and use. This is a production role as much as a thinking role: you might rewrite the homepage, record a product walkthrough, draft the newsletter, build a competitive one-pager for a live deal, and interview customers in the same week. You’ll work directly with our CEO, Product teams, Chief of Staff, Growth Marketer, and Founding GTM hire.

  • Own the ICP and know the customer better than anyone here. Run customer interviews and win/loss conversations continuously, sit in on sales calls, turn what you hear into messaging that lands, and share the learning with Product.

  • Own positioning and messaging. Build the core narrative — what T:0 is, why it matters, and why it’s different — plus the frameworks that keep the website, sales deck, launches, and content consistent. Test messaging with real prospects rather than relying on internal debate.

  • Write the website. Own the copy on every page while partnering with the Growth Marketer, who owns page builds, tests, and traffic.

  • Make product content, including product walkthroughs, explainers, demo videos, and launch assets. Move quickly in-house by default and bring in outside support when work genuinely needs production polish.

  • Run product launches. Build a repeatable launch motion covering narrative, assets, internal enablement, timing, and a clear read on whether the launch worked.

  • Own the blog and SEO content strategy. Decide what T:0 should rank for, write the briefs, and write the pieces that matter. Growth handles technical SEO and distribution.

  • Write the T:0 newsletter. Growth grows the list; you make it worth reading.

  • Own competitive intelligence. Know who T:0 is up against, keep comparisons current, and arm the sales team with material they can use on a call.

  • Build sales enablement materials, including one-pagers, objection handling, competitive battlecards, and demo narratives. The Founding GTM hire runs enablement with the Airwallex sales organisation; you build what they run.

  • Own pricing and packaging. Partner with the CEO and Product on pricing, tiers, and how the offer is explained.

  • Collect and use customer proof, including quotes, reviews, case studies, and logos, and put it in front of buyers.

You'll work from our San Francisco office three days a week.

What we're looking for

Essentials

  • 5+ years in product marketing, or an adjacent role where you personally owned positioning and shipped the assets that came from it.

  • Exceptional writing ability. This is the single highest bar in the process; you’ll be asked for samples and a short written exercise.

  • A track record of high output. You can walk us through what you shipped in a recent 90-day stretch, demonstrating volume and velocity rather than one flagship deliverable.

  • Experience conducting real customer research and showing how a specific insight changed specific messaging.

  • The ability to hold your own on a technical product. You don’t need a finance or accounting background, but you need to get deep into how things work rather than staying at the surface.

  • The ability to operate without a brief. Nobody here will hand you a prioritised queue.

Preferred

  • Fintech, accounting, or founder-finance-stack experience.

  • Experience as the first or only product marketer at a company.

  • Comfort recording and lightly editing your own product videos.

  • Aggressive use of AI tools for research, drafting, competitive monitoring, and content iteration.

  • Experience marketing to founders and early-stage operators.

You'll thrive here if
  • You're comfortable owning the roadmap yourself.

  • You like defining your own space rather than staying in one narrow lane.

  • You're excited by a category that hasn't been won yet, and want to be early enough to shape it.

  • You're not precious about your ideas. You push hard for what you believe in, but you pivot fast when the data says otherwise.

  • You come to the table with a point of view, not just a problem.

Learn more about your team

T:0's mission is to make finance run itself. We're building an AI-native accounting platform that closes the books, reconciles, and reports continuously, so founders can stop managing their finances and start using them to run the business. The hard part isn't adding AI to accounting. It's making AI you can trust with the books. We use AI to understand how a business works, then run the actual accounting on strict, checkable rules, and no black box deciding the numbers. That's why customers pick us over both the legacy tools they've outgrown and the AI wrappers they don't trust. And bookkeeping is just the start: we're building toward a full financial operating system for how companies account, plan, and operate. The team is small, elite, and builder-focused, led by operators with a track record of shipping AI products at scale. We sit inside Airwallex, which means startup speed with a scaled company's infrastructure, distribution, and capital behind us. You'll work directly from real customer pain, own outcomes end to end, and ship fast.
