Overview
The Corporate Treasury team is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Payments & Settlement to support the development, enhancement, and operational enablement of settlement services across Mastercard's core network.
This role partners closely with Product, Business, Technology, Treasury, and external stakeholders to drive the evolution of Mastercard's settlement capabilities, accelerate real-time payment initiatives, and support the development of innovative settlement products and services.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
Role
In this position, you will:• Support the analysis, design, and implementation of enhancements to settlement services and related Treasury capabilities.• Partner with business units, product teams, and technology teams to define requirements and deliver innovative settlement solutions.• Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects from planning through execution, ensuring successful delivery against scope, timelines, and business objectives.• Conduct financial, operational, regulatory, customer, and system impact analysis.• Prepare materials and insights for leadership review, ensuring clear communication of findings, risks, and recommendations.• Translate complex business needs into clear requirements and actionable implementation plans.• Coordinate with Technology teams to ensure requirements are documented, understood, and properly implemented.• Assist in identifying risks, potential impacts, and mitigation strategies related to settlement services.• Manage assigned projects and workstreams, including planning, tracking progress, maintaining documentation, managing dependencies, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.• Support initiatives related to payment modernization, real-time payments, settlement acceleration, and emerging settlement capabilities.• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships and act as a trusted partner across projects and strategic initiatives.
All About You:• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other related fields.• Experience in payments, banking, treasury, settlement, financial infrastructure, or broader financial services environments.• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives or projects from planning through execution and delivery.• Experience with payment systems, settlement processes, treasury operations, clearing, or funds transfer infrastructure.• Familiarity with Real-Time Payments (RTP), instant payment ecosystems, or related payment modernization initiatives.• Experience with systems implementation, business analysis, or product development.• Knowledge of regulatory environments impacting payment and settlement services is a plus• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex issues.• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable deliverables.• Advanced English communication skills.• Availability to be in the office 3 times per week.
