PURPOSE
The Product Manager job is responsible for the complex technology and data products and solutions including applications, services or platforms for the Global Law Team. With minimal supervision, this job is accountable for driving customer value to achieve a business outcome by crafting product visions that find opportunities to tackle customer problems, leading product discovery, translating vision and discovery into a product strategy and communicating that strategy to partners with roadmaps.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- PRODUCT STRATEGY & DELIVERY: Owns product strategy and solution from discovery to delivery, and identifies business value and end user outcomes including key performance indicators and financial return on investment.
- BACKLOG MANAGEMENT: Maintains prioritization and refinement of the product backlog, deciding what to build and when, partnering with teams to estimate features, define requirements and collaborate on a product roadmap based on the team's capacity.
- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: Serves as a product functional owner, bringing new technology and data products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs, preparing return on investment analyses and addressing product team questions.
- MARKET INSIGHTS: Analyzes market and competitive conditions to pave a clear path toward the business value of the product and make that clear to the team that serves the customer.
- PRODUCT VIABILITY ASSESSMENT: Analyzes and addresses the critical product risks including value, usability, feasibility and business viability.
- PRODUCT PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION: Uses quantitative and qualitative data for detailed analysis to identify what to build or optimize.
- ENVIRONMENTAL & SUSTAINABILITY CONTRIBUTIONS: Adheres to environmental contributions and sustainability goals of the organization while supporting the implementation and visibility of standard methodologies, processes and continuous improvement related to the product across the enterprise or group.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM
- Relevant work experience as Product Manager.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of product management and product ownership principles.
- Knowledge of software design, user interaction, and user interface (UI) design.
- Advanced proficiency in English, verbal and written.

- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) with hands-on experience in sprint planning, backlog management, and writing user stories.
- Basic understanding of software development and system architecture.
- Proven ability to gather and integrate user feedback into product development.
- Skilled in prioritizing features based on business value, risk, and effort.
- Effective communicator with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Capable of clearly articulating product vision and priorities to cross-functional teams.
- Experience collaborating with legal operations teams.
