Working under guidance, the Product Manager II partners with engineering, UX, and QA to translate defined problems into well-scoped, actionable work and represents customer requirements to drive feature implementation. The role builds strong customer instincts and cross-functional collaboration skills while developing fluency across both strategic product practice and sprint-level execution.
Primary Duties / Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Discovery
- Supports problem and solution discovery within the domain, helping define the problem space and validate that solutions address root causes.
- Partners with UX research, client solutions, and business stakeholders to gather and synthesize feedback from consumers and clients.
- Partners with UX, Engineering, and QA to help create the specifications required to drive development and delivery of work.
- Uses AI-augmented discovery workflows to accelerate problem analysis and synthesize research inputs into implementation-ready detail.
- Engages directly with clients through conversations and demos to understand performance needs and represent the user's perspective back to the team.
- Builds working knowledge of the dealer and client context to ground product decisions in real-world use.
Planning
- Owns planning and prioritization at the epic level for the domain, sequencing epics against business outcomes and relative value.
- Responsible for involving the right stakeholders in discovery, bringing UX, engineering, architecture, and business partners in at the right points to shape and pressure-test the work.
- Makes data-driven prioritization recommendations, aggregating and analyzing large data sets to determine the right sequencing of work.
- Maintains the epic-level view of the domain roadmap and communicates prioritization decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Applies stakeholder input and sound judgment, including critical evaluation of AI-generated trade-off recommendations, to prioritize competing epics.
Development
- Supports a cross-functional delivery squad as a product voice, partnering with engineering, UX, and QA to drive execution and remove blockers.
- Partners with AI-enabled development teams to drive clarity where needed so they can iterate quickly.
- Uses AI-augmented authoring tools to draft and refine epics and features for the domain.
- Answers day-to-day product questions for the delivery team, clarifying requirements and business rules so work stays unblocked.
- Reviews and accepts completed work against acceptance criteria, confirming it solves the intended problem before release.
- Partners with Product Owners and engineering to support cross-team alignment and dependency awareness within the domain.
- Participates in prototyping, testing, and validation of solutions alongside UX and engineering.
In-Market Performance
- Helps establish structured feedback mechanisms including usage data, support signals, and direct user input so the user's voice is represented in prioritization.
- Monitors in-market performance signals and surfaces findings to inform Product Life Cycle decisions.
- Supports launch preparation with Product Readiness, client solutions, and marketing, contributing to release notes, training materials, and KPI tracking plans.
Functional Skills
- AI-Augmented Product Practice: Uses AI systems across the product lifecycle to accelerate and improve work. Developing fluency in spec-driven authoring, effective prompting, and critical evaluation of AI output, and learning when to trust AI output and when to verify or override.
- Technology and Delivery Fluency: Working knowledge of how systems fit together. Partners with engineering on delivery approach and builds understanding of technical trade-offs and how AI-assisted development changes delivery cycles.
- Business Outcome Translation: Working ability to translate defined objectives into clearly scoped, actionable work that delivery teams can act on.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Working ability to operate across UX, engineering, and QA within the domain, coordinating dependencies and keeping work moving when priorities compete.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Product Managerment experience.

- Experience working cross-functionally across engineering, UX, and business partners.
- Developing skill identifying KPIs and using analytics to measure product value.
- Experience working in an AI-augmented product environment, or demonstrated proficiency applying AI tools to product work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills applicable across a range of audiences.
USD 89,400.00 - 134,000.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $89,400.00 - $134,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
