At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Snowflake's Developer Platform team is on a mission to win the hearts and minds of developers by making it seamless and intuitive to build with data. This is a role for a product manager who is passionate about building the foundational tools and infrastructure that power the developer experience on Snowflake and wants to take ownership of mission-critical features.
The Developer Platform's vision is to deliver an exceptional, developer-first experience built on a foundation of simplicity, familiarity, and ease of use. The Client Side Interfaces group owns the connectivity and programmatic surfaces through which developers, data engineers, and automation systems interact with Snowflake — including the Terraform provider, Snow CLI, Tableau connector, and SQLAlchemy dialect. As a PM on this team, you will take ownership of a specific feature area and be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, partnering closely with a dedicated engineering team to translate high-level strategy into a concrete roadmap and ship features that solve real, complex developer problems.
As a Product Manager on the Developer Platform, you will:
Own the product backlog and day-to-day execution for a key feature area of the Client Side Interfaces portfolio.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and clear specifications for your engineering team.
Become the subject matter expert for your product, serving as the go-to resource for engineering, marketing, sales, and the developer community.
Define, track, and analyze the metrics that measure the success and adoption of your products — using data to inform prioritization, not just report on it.
Partner with senior product leaders to ensure your feature roadmap aligns with our broader strategic goals.
Engage directly with the developer community — through interviews, dogfooding, and community feedback — to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and unmet needs.
Our ideal product manager will have:
3-5 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping products or features for a developer-facing tool, cloud service, or technical infrastructure product. We will also consider candidates with 5+ years of engineering experience in developer tools who are looking to transition into product management.
A strong understanding of the modern software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), and API design principles.
The ability to be a "technically credible partner" to engineering — capable of engaging in deep discussions about product architecture, trade-offs, and implementation approaches.
Deep empathy for developers, particularly those working with data, and a passion for solving their most frustrating workflow challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align both technical and non-technical stakeholders around a shared vision.
Strong analytical thinking and comfort with metrics — you use data to inform decisions and measure impact.
Bonus points for:
A technical degree (CS or Engineering) or equivalent software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, or Terraform.
Prior experience working on connectivity tools, developer SDKs, APIs, or programmatic interfaces.
Experience building or contributing to an open-source developer community.
Why join our Developer Platform team at Snowflake: This is an opportunity to take ownership of mission-critical components of a major developer platform used by millions. You will have the autonomy to drive features from concept to launch, with direct and measurable impact on nearly every Snowflake customer. This is the right role for a PM who is ready to apply strong product instincts to complex, high-impact technical problems — with the scope and visibility to grow into a senior IC role.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
