NOTE: This role is based in Billund, Denmark, and no relocation support is offered.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead product teams through change, helping them retain focus through value creation and continuous deliverables.
- As people leader - recruit, develop and support the growth of a dedicated, diverse and inclusive team of product managers (6-8 direct reports).
- Empower product teams in user groups define quarterly objectives and key results (OKRs) that align with strategic priorities, providing deeper context, and access to key team members across the LEGO Group leading to product execution.
- As Product Leader responsible for ensuring Product teams have clarity and understands the key problems they need to solve.
- Develop medium to long-term high-level vision and strategy for own area (Roadmap and ambitions) and support the development of annual portfolio objectives and key results to ensure focus on critical priorities across user group.
- Collaborate with insight, foresight and UX research teams to develop a deeper understanding of market / tech trends, manufacturing challenges and opportunities, identifying further needs for product discovery that improve experience and productivity for our employees.

Product Management in Manufacturing & Engineering is anchored in Operations Engineering & Workplace working in close collaboration with Product Management in GSCO & Procurement which together is accountable for the full product deliveries across Operations.
As Product Leader you will be reporting to Head of Products Manufacturing but also joining cross functional leadership teams relevant for specific capabilities and domain knowledge – as example Global Moulding Wheel and L3 Leaderships Teams.
Digital Product teams in Moulding and E&Q are involved in development of new technologies and operational solutions – both as novelties from product development and improvements from production to increase safety, quality or productivity. Functional areas cover Additive Manufacturing, Mould Supply and Manufacturing, Moulding Processes and Global Maintenance e.g. we digitally enable the design and production of our amazing LEGO bricks. Our colleague and stakeholder landscape is very diverse – from senior management through technical platform owners to engineers and operators with deep functional expertise.
Automation and Digitalization of the Shopfloor, New Play Experiences and Sustainability are examples of strategic focus areas within Moulding and Engineering & Quality – very high ambitions and commitments to be delivered. Business led – digitally enabled.
The Product Leader is responsible for a team of 6-8 product managers, supporting their development, managing performance, and creating the right culture to empower them and provide psychological safety to fail and learn. The Product Leader is key to enabling people to achieve their potential and improving product management capability across the LEGO Group.

Experience
- Demonstrable experience as a Product Leader where you have directly implemented product solutions / digital applications and have enhanced the end user experience
- Proven track record in building and leading hard-working product teams, inspiring and empowering them to work towards common goals
- Experience leading highly skilled employees
- Experience in managing complex projects, remaining agile in an ever-changing environment

- A great communicator and ability to clearly articulate the problem and proposed solution
