Product Expert Gyratory Crusher

Main Purpose: “Provide product-expert engineering, aftermarket support and concept design across the crushing installed base — primary focus on the legacy thyssenkrupp gyratory fleet (KB series), with broader support across the FLSmidth crusher portfolio; deliver problem-solving, spare parts and modernisation outputs that improve reliability, lifecycle value and competitiveness for RoW mining customers.”

Product development & engineering function:

• Perform concept, solution development and detailed design for crusher upgrades, modernisation and aftermarket product development

• Produce and review 3D models, drawings and BOMs to FLSmidth drawing and data standards, and reconcile legacy thyssenkrupp (metric) documentation into current systems

• Create and maintain Enovia part numbers, drawing records and engineering data for the legacy TK gyratory fleet to a high standard of accuracy

• Support development of configure-to-order / engineered-to-order packages for standard crusher upgrades and reline / rebuild kits

• Support engineering assessment, root-cause investigation and customer-specific engineering with the global PE and PBL teams

• Support in-service modification, capacity uprate and modernisation design across the gyratory, cone, sizer and feeder installed base

• Contribute targeted engineering improvements that raise reliability, wear life, throughput and maintainability across the crusher fleet

Operational & product expert support:

• Deliver rapid aftermarket engineering support for global crusher customers; responsive, practical problem-solving

• Resolve technical queries from customers, field service, suppliers and internal teams on spare parts, wear components, materials, drawings and in-service crusher issues

• Undertake complex parts identification on legacy thyssenkrupp equipment and develop technical supply lists

• Develop and maintain recommended spare parts lists (RSPL), first-time-spares packages and reline / rebuild kits

• Contribute to install-base analysis, wear-part planning and inventory optimisation

• Support standardisation and part-mastering initiatives that improve supportability and reduce inventory and supply-chain complexity

• Recover, digitise and improve legacy thyssenkrupp engineering, spare-parts and equipment data

• Provide field and troubleshooting support for reline, rebuild and commissioning events, and capture lessons learned

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and knowledge capture across the global PE group and crusher product line

• Provide the technical, engineering-data and product-expert outputs that underpin sales, service and the front-of-house PE roles

Salary range: 87,000 Euro - 104,000 Euro gross
