Role:

Responsible to perform Mechanical Engineering task in the Screen product line. We are seeking a Product Engineer to support product development and engineering activities with a primary focus on engineering drawing checking, design verification, and quality assurance of technical documentation in the Screens and Centrifuges product line. The role will ensure that drawings, models, and engineering deliverables comply with company standards, customer requirements, applicable codes, and manufacturing best practices.

Your responsibilities

Drawing Checking and Design Verification

  • Review and check 2D engineering drawings and 3D models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.

  • Verify dimensions, tolerances, weld details, surface treatments, bill of materials (BOM), and manufacturing requirements.

  • Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards such as ASME, ISO, AWS, and company engineering procedures.

  • Check General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, assembly, and component drawings before release.

  • Review Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for technical accuracy.

  • Verify drawing revisions and maintain proper revision control.

Product Engineering Support

  • Support new product development, product upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Perform engineering calculations and design validations as required.

  • Coordinate with engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues.

  • Assist in standardization of components, assemblies, and engineering documentation.

  • Support development and maintenance of design guidelines, standards, and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and project teams to ensure design intent is clearly communicated.

  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

  • Provide technical clarification to production and supply chain teams during manufacturing and assembly stages.

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to design or drawing issues.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve drawing quality, checking processes, and engineering workflows.

  • Support implementation of lessons learned and best practices across product lines.

  • Contribute to reducing engineering errors, rework, and manufacturing non-conformances.

What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or related discipline.

  • 7+ years of experience in product engineering, design engineering, or drawing checking.

  • Strong knowledge of engineering drawing standards, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design principles.

  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or similar.

  • Experience with PLM/PDM systems (preferably ENOVIA).

  • Familiarity with welded structures, fabricated equipment, and mechanical assemblies.

  • Understanding of design calculations, and engineering validation methods is desirable.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret engineering standards and specifications.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

  • Strong organizational and document control capabilities.
