- Support the team in the operational function of the Procurement Department.- Ensure compliance to Group Policy and regulatory/legal regulations and laws at country level.

- Assist the team in end-to-end Procurement process (RFP to contract signature and handing over)
Job Description
AccountabilitiesSupport the team on all supplier projects/contracts end to end up from RFP to contract handing over to business.
Ensure compliance with mandatory outputs within the Group Policy/local legislations/regulatory bodies.
Prepare contract documentation, variations, change control notes, extensions, renewals and addendums as required.
Support internal stakeholders and the Procurement Team in all Coupa related tasks/queries/issues as required.
Provide cover for other team members as required
Execute processes in place for phone bills/invoices.
Action activation/ de-activation of SIM Cards until completion of the process for mobile phones – ordering, delivery, complaints handling and follow up with service providers
Action requests for ordering of cheque books and continuous cheques as per system/process in place
Carry out any cognate duty in support of the Procurement team and Business
Financial Management :
Support the team to ensure delivery of the ABML savings targets
Ensure that all materials are procured within agreed parameters of cost, quality and delivery of performance
Analyse Sourcing spend on a regular basis as requested
Contribute to the implementation of cost savings and efficiency improvement measures, in line with the COO Strategy
Stakeholder Management :
Develop stakeholder relationships
Engage with business on as a client facing role to deliver projects from a Procurement/Sourcing Business Partner perspective.
Monitor outputs against Service Level Agreements regarding procurement issues
Escalate unresolved queries/requests emanating from Suppliers and Internal Customers to Management.
Control:
Ensure PSL/MSL is updated at all times
Ensure all signed contracts are uploaded on Coupa within first week of contract signature.
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with legal/regulatory requirements, Enterprise- Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards.
Perform snap checks as required
Manage Controlled stationery and stock items.
Fully assist and actively engage in the Pre-Audit preparatory works prior to any audit.
Ensure procedure manuals are updated at all times
Participate in the Business Continuity Management testing
Support the team in timely preparation and submission of all Procurement/Risk/Control and Governance/Regulatory/COO/RBS/Opco related Ml and Reports.
Role/Person Specification (Knowledge, Expertise and Experience)
Essential:
Diploma calibre with commercial experience and a strong sourcing background
Relationship management skills — internal and external
Experience of managing communications across multiple business functions.
Understanding the local supply market.
Preferred:
Understanding of regulatory and risk management requirements
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of banking products and services
Diploma with minimum 2 years relevant experience in Procurement or equivalent of 5 years bank related experience
