Job Summary:

Procurement Responsible Business Specialist - Environmental focus

Coordinates projects focused on suppliers’ compliance with Vertiv’s Responsible Business standards with focus on environmental topics. The role leads data coordination, collaborates cross‑functionally to drive regulatory compliance, and implementation of environmental related RB strategies. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the due diligence process on suppliers to assess their compliance with ESG standards and the Vertiv Code of Conduct.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier practices related to human rights, responsible minerals sourcing, materials compliance, and environmental protection.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance related to ESG standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate ESG considerations into procurement processes.
  • Utilize external ESG vendors and databases for updates in Responsible Mineral sourcing, Anti human Trafficking and Slavery, and environmental trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices related to ESG in procurement.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Procurement Responsible Business Analysts.
  • Work directly with Sales and Customers to provide responses to customer due diligence and Responsible Business inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of ESG standards and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
