You will actively support the company strategy on cost-saving, supply chain resilience, sustainability, risk mitigation, and innovation.

Core Responsibilities

At the LEGO Group we are going through an outstanding period of growth and expansion across our global portfolio of manufacturing facilities.

You will be sourcing Automated Logistics Solutions and establishing strong category expertise within the Indirect Procurement Team. More specifically you will:

  • Provide active leadership and influencing among partners, finance, and suppliers to drive company-wide cost initiatives in the construction and operational  automated logistics spend

  • Serve as a Procurement Business Partner for Management in the Regions for annual Category planning and network development

  • Build effective supplier relationship management strategies that define objectives and anticipated outcomes clearly

  • Negotiate and lead complex, high-value negotiations and manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle

  • Build market insights to identify trends and translate them into category strategies

  • Build and maintain a Global supplier base - including contracting, negotiations, strategic performance management, risk management, and supplier performance

  • Drive sustainability and efficiency initiatives through our external partners

Based in Billund, you will become part of the Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) Global Procurement Group. We function as a trustworthy business partner to our internal customers and handle the purchasing of Facilities, Construction, IT/Digital, Professional Services, Travel, and Distribution.

As the LEGO Group grows its worldwide manufacturing and distribution presence in a constantly changing market, our procurement team leads a challenging change program across cost, service, sustainability, and resilience.

Do you have what it takes?

We imagine that you are a team-player, yet self-motivated and able to navigate in uncertain and challenging situations.

You have strong leadership and communication skills, which help you to collaborate, steer and influence at high levels with internal and external business partners. Moreover, you have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience within procurement, project management and/or engineering preferably, in an international company.

  • Experience with stakeholder and strategic supplier management

  • Negotiation Skills and experience with large and complex contract negotiations and contract management

  • Knowledge within manufacturing of logistics or robotic equipment, as well as production processes is preferable

  • Internationally mobile, expect traveling 20-30 days a year

  • Proficiency in English both verbally and written
